I needed a different definition for my travels. A name that would set the expectation of being different, intriguing and challenging! I reviewed both Anglo and American dictionary’s and settled on Escapade as an appropriate descriptor!

Webster’s an escapade is “a usually adventurous action that runs counter to approved or conventional conduct”.

Oxford English, an “escapade” is an exciting adventure, often one that people think is dangerous or stupid.

I think both of these are accurate in some aspects. My definition of an “escapade” is a trip which most people have heard of but would probably not attempt. My challenge is to share my journey and give people the confidence to try!
